Hong Kong Society of Transplantation is the co-organizer of the Organ Donation Concert at MacPherson Stadium on 23 April 2017.

An interactive drama tells the story of organ donation, from organ failure to that of brain death.

To support the organ donation, Hong Kong Medical Association has organised Spring Sowing Organ Donation Promotion Walk on 12 March 2017.

Besides the initiative to arouse the organ donation awareness, the HKMA uses the theme of sowing “春耕行動” to denote the hard work for the promotion work.

Participants joined a 4-km walk at Pak Tam Chung, and were pledged to invite five friends or relatives to sign up in the Central Organ Donation Registry.

Our Society supported and provided souvenir and T-shirts for this event.

HKST is happy to have assisted / supported the production of animated video (health communication promotion tool for organ donation) from the Department of Communication Studies by Hong Kong Baptist University HKBU. The kick-off broadcast of this video was made in the TTS 2016.

Dr Timothy Fung (left) from HKBU has joined the HKST to witness the kick-off of the video.
